HOW TO REPLACE A DERAILLEUR BICYCLE CHAIN

Some time ago i published a video on how to use a chain tool to remove and replace a bicycle chain. This video is more in depth where it shows you more details on the job. Chain length can be an issue, too long or too short and other such little details are included in this epic production... Ok, not really epic, but I am trying to get better at this. Making movies is not that easy. So enjoy and I hope this will help you out. You can check out the first video that showed a close up on using the chain tool here.

Til then next time, ride safe and Godspeed.

It's a chain breaker tool. Look at the video in the "How to replace a derailler bicycle chain" article on the left sidebar.

Thanks so much for this! I've spent the past hour doing this incorrectly. So frustrating! I'd been setting it on random cogs and hoping for the best... :P

Terrible video. If you are an expert on chain replacement it is probably fine, but if you have never replaced a chain on a derailleur bicycle before this is DEFINITELY NOT the video for you.

Most people seem to disagree with you but everybody has a right to their opinion. I respect that.
